The information and communication technology (ICT) policy in school education aims at preparing the youth to participate creatively in the establishment, sustenance and growth of a knowledge society leading to all round socio-economic development of the nation and global competitiveness. The Policy includes creating an environment in the states to develop an ICT knowledgeable community and an ICT literate community.
